Simple Substitutions


Here are a few substitutions to help with your New Year’s diet:

Instead of mashed potatoes, try mashed cauliflower
·
Instead of lasagna noodles, try sliced eggplant
·
Instead of white flour, try almond flour
·
Instead of spaghetti, try spaghetti squash
·
Instead of apple pie, try baked apples
·
Instead of granola, try All-Bran
·
Instead of orange juice, try a fresh orange
·
Instead of pizza crust, try Portobello mushrooms
·
Instead of soda, try seltzer with lemon or lime
·
Instead of potato chips, try peanuts
