With a bag of tilapia filets all defrosted and ready to go, I was searching the internet for some delicious recipe revelation that listed only things I had on hand. (Yeah, right!) Then it occurred to me: the manufacturer that packed up the little fishies wants me to enjoy them and buy more. The instructions on the bag are probably going to be the ideal way to prepare these healthy gems.
Why is it that we seem to make things harder than it needs to be? Sometimes the most obvious answer is right in front of our face. Yet we seek out other ways to do things, like there's really some sort of "new and improved" on the basics.
It's good to know we can depend upon the Lord to be consistent in our lives each day. Even if we get sidetracked and start looking elsewhere, He's right there when we refocus our eyes on Him and look to Him for the answers.

Our dinner turned out super-delish, by the way. And my day goes much better when I stick with the basics: prayer and devotional time. Even if it's only a couple of minutes it makes all the difference.
