Busy Summer!

The countdown is on...Edify is just days away!! Hope FM and First Assembly have partnered to do something great for our local teachers. And the community has given tremendously to help! Yesterday we went to Walmart to buy some of the supplies we need that they had on sale. The look on the cashier's face was priceless! The receipt is almost as tall as me! 731 items for $300.49. And that's just a small percentage of what we've already got. Sooo exciting...and truly better to give than receive.

And in just over a week, an amazing concert with Denver and the Mile High Orchestra. Going to be so much fun. I can't believe they are going to come here to little 'ole Palatka. woohoo!

Retool4School is happening next weekend. Maybe you are fortunate enough to have what you need to send your kids back to school. There are so many in our community that don't have the basic necessities. To help, either give money or buy school clothes, shoes or supplies to donate. Last year Abundant Life did this project to try to provide for a few families. They didn't realize how great the need was, this year it's even greater.
